When will fans be allowed back into TD Garden?

On February 25, 2021, Governor Baker announced that TD Garden has been permitted to host fans at 12% capacity beginning on March 22, 2021. The first Boston Bruins game with fans will be hosted on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 and the first Boston Celtics game with fans will be hosted on Tuesday, March 29, 2021. Ticketing information for upcoming games will be released by the teams in the coming days. 

What is TD Garden doing to protect guest health & safety?

To help protect the health and safety of our guests, associates and players, TD Garden has introduced the ‘Play It Safe’ commitment to care. Play It Safe was created in consultation with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, public safety and health officials, the NHL, and the NBA and in accordance with guidelines from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This program is designed to reduce the spread of infectious diseases such as COVID-19 and to uphold TD Garden’s original code of conduct, a commitment to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for all. 

When will tickets be available and who can purchase?

At this time, Season Ticket Holders, Season Ticket Members, Game Plan Holders, and Boston Garden Society Members will receive priority access to purchase tickets games based on availability.  Complete the Bruins ticket interest form or subscribe Celtics Club Green e-newsletters below to be the first to learn about general public ticket access and special offers.

I’m a Boston Garden Society member, are my seats available?

Due to the capacity restrictions, seating inventory is limited and subject to change. Please contact your season Boston Garden Society account executive if you have additional questions.  

I’m a Season Ticket Holder/Season Ticket Member - can I sit in my regular seats?

No. Due to the capacity restrictions, inventory is limited and subject to change.  

Due to NHL Protocols, Boston Bruins glass seats will not be available at this time.  

Due to NBA protocols, Celtics Courtside seats will be available in a limited capacity. Ticketholders are subject to additional screening prior to attending games. Celtics Courtside ticketholders can contact their Celtics representative with any questions

Will I be able to transfer, donate or resell my tickets if I cannot use them?

Yes, anyone who purchases tickets will have the ability to transfer, donate or resell tickets via Account Manager.  In order to maintain proper social and physical distancing protocols, tickets should be transferred, resold, or donated as a group (pods of 2 and 4). Individual tickets from your group should not be transferred, resold or donated to individuals outside of your pod or household.   

What happens if a game is postponed?

Your ticket will be valid for the date of the rescheduled game.  

What if I get sick prior to the game?

If you have tickets to a game and you or a member of your party become sick and cannot fulfill the Play It Safe Promise on the day of your event, you may transfer, resell, or donate your tickets through Account Manager. Guests are reminded that everyone coming into TD Garden must complete the Play It Safe Promise prior to entering TD Garden.  In order to maintain proper social and physical distancing protocols, tickets should be transferred, resold, or donated as a group (pods of 2 and 4). Individual tickets from your group should not be transferred, resold or donated to individuals outside of your pod or household.

What is Play It Safe?

The Play It Safe commitment to care is a comprehensive program designed to help ensure the continued health and safety of TD Garden guests and associates and reduce the spread of infectious diseases like COVID-19.  

Using the Play It Safe protocols, we’ve reengineered our operational and sanitation procedures to minimize contact risk and bolstered hygiene to exceed best-practice guidelines from the CDC.  Additionally, we have incorporated all guidelines from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and local public safety and public health officials, the NHL, and the NBA.  Our commitment remains to prioritize the safety of our guests, associates and players.

What is the Play It Safe Promise?

An online health and safety agreement that must be completed and acknowledged on the day of the event by any individual entering TD Garden committing to the ‘Play It Safe’ protocols.  With new guidelines due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we require that everyone entering TD Garden commit to the health and safety guidelines set forth in the Play It Safe Promise. 

The Play It Safe Promise must be completed on the day of your event and the checkmark confirmation that appears on your mobile device must be presented to a TD Garden Fan Ambassador when you arrive at your gate. 

What do I do if I am unable to sign the Play It Safe Promise?

If you cannot sign the Play It Safe Promise because you are unable to meet the COVID-19 criteria, you will be denied entry. 

If you cannot sign the Play It Safe Promise because you are having technical difficulties, forgot to fill it out or have lost or misplaced your Play It Safe Promise, guests will be referred to a TD Garden staff member who will assist with onsite completion of the Play It Safe Promise. 

What if I’m coming from another state (other than MA)?

Please ensure that you are complying with the Massachusetts COVID-19 Travel Advisory

Signing the Play It Safe Promise certifies that you have complied with Massachusetts COVID-19 Travel Order. 

What are the health screenings in place for fans who plan to attend an event at TD Garden?

Everyone entering TD Garden must complete the Play It Safe Promise, which requires attendees and their dependents to complete a health pre-screening, ensure compliance with the Massachusetts COVID-19 Travel Order and acknowledge new guest code of conduct policies. The Play It Safe Promise must be completed on the day of your event and presented to security when you arrive at your gate. Visit www.TDGarden.com/playitsafe for more policies and guidelines.

Do I need to be vaccinated for COVID-19 to attend an event at TD Garden? 

No, vaccination is not required to enter TD Garden. 

 

Do I need to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test to attend an event at TD Garden? 

No, proof of a negative COVID-19 test result is not required for general seating at TD Garden.

What do I do if I (or someone from my group) begin to experience symptoms while attending an event at TD Garden?

If you begin to feel ill during a game or event, notify a TD Garden associate and/or go to TD Garden’s First Aid location on level 4 across from Loge section 15. 

Guests are reminded to stay home if they are sick and to always keep their masks on, unless actively eating or drinking in their seats, as permitted. 

What is the mask policy? Are there exceptions?

In addition to TD Garden associates, all guests are always required to wear masks at TD Garden except while actively eating or drinking in your seat as permitted.  Masks must completely and tightly cover the wearer’s nose and mouth.  Neck gaiters, bandanas, masks with valves or vents, and any covering with only a single layer of cloth are not permitted. Face shields may not be worn in place of a face mask, though may be worn in addition to a face mask.  A two-strike policy will be strictly enforced for all guests who attend events at TD Garden in relation to mask wearing. Guests failing to adhere to this policy will be subject to disciplinary measures including ejection.  

In accordance with CDC guidelines, children under 2 years old are exempt from the mandatory mask policy. If you have a medical condition that prevents you from wearing a face mask, please notify TD Garden customer service at least 2 business days prior to your ticketed event to make accommodations. Entry will be denied if advance notice is not provided. Day of event exemptions will not be permitted.  Fans who are unable to wear a face mask will be required to wear a face shield.

How do I report concern regarding other guests’ conduct?

Guests are encouraged to report issues using the Fan Safe Text Hotline at 857-400-8763*. 

*The Fan Safe Text Hotline is actively monitored during events, beginning 90 minutes prior to the start time of the event through the end of the event. If you need assistance during non-event days and times, please contact Customer Service at [email protected] or 617-624-1331. 

What is the consequence for guests who violate the TD Garden Code of Conduct or Play It Safe policies?

Guests failing to adhere to the TD Garden Guest Code of Conduct and/or the Play It Safe policies will be subject to disciplinary measures, including ejection. A two-strike policy will be strictly enforced for all guests who attend events at TD Garden in relation to mask wearing.  

What is the bag policy and are there exceptions?

To uphold health and safety protocols, minimize contact and ensure a swifter entry process, TD Garden has a no bag policy.   

If a bag is necessary for medical reasons or childcare, bags may not exceed 14”x14”x6”. All bags (including clear bags and ProShop powered by ‘47 bags) are subject to x-ray screening and inspection. Patrons with prohibited items will not be permitted entry to the arena. TD Garden does not provide on-site storage. Guests are asked to plan accordingly and allow for extra time when arriving to TD Garden.  

How will I know where to enter TD Garden?

Your entry gate will be listed on your mobile ticket.  

Prior to arrival, all ticketed guests will receive a ‘Know Before You Go’ email with entry details and maps, Play It Safe reminders, and other important information.  

Upon arrival, the entry gates will be clearly marked with signs and attended by TD Garden staff to assist guests in locating proper entry points while remaining physically distanced. 

Guests can also visit www.TDGarden.com/KnowBeforeYouGo at any time when planning your visit to TD Garden.  

What are you doing to minimize touch points and fan interaction?

Every component of the Play It Safe plan is designed to minimize touch points, enforce physical distance to keep guests and associates safe, including but not limited to: 

  • Download TD Garden Hub App for mobile ticketing, F&B ordering, parking and payment methods. Celtics fans can download and display their tickets on the Boston Celtics app. Bruins fans can use the Boston Bruins app. 

  • Physically distanced entry, seating and exit procedures. 

  • Physical distancing in effect throughout arena. 

  • Touchless elevators and restroom fixtures. 

  • Prepackaged food and beverage, mobile ordering, and contactless pick-up. 

Will food, beverage, and alcohol be available to purchase?

Yes, limited food, beverage and alcohol will be available for purchase. Mobile ordering and payment are strongly encouraged. Guests are encouraged to download TD Garden Hub App for access to all contactless features like mobile tickets (Celtics fans can download and display their tickets on the Boston Celtics app. Bruins fans can use the Boston Bruins app), Play It Safe Promise, parking, mobile ordering and mobile wallet. Guests are reminded that masks must be worn at all times, except when actively eating or drinking at your seat, as permitted.  

Will the ProShop powered by ‘47 be open?

Yes, the ProShop powered by ‘47 will be open with limited capacity. Physical distancing and masks are required for anyone entering the ProShop. Guests may shop online through TD Garden Hub App or at BostonProShop.com and select ‘in-store pick-up' as delivery method. Text 978-712-0611 upon arrival to pick up your order.

Guests who shop prior to attending the game will be permitted to bring ProShop powered by ‘47 bags into the arena. All bags will be subject to x-ray screening and inspection.  

Is the Box Office open?

Yes, TD Garden Box Office will be open and operating on game days, opening two hours prior to the start of the game and closing one hour after the start of the game. Physical distancing and masks are required for anyone visiting the Box Office, and there is a limited capacity. Guests are reminded that TD Garden is using all mobile ticketing and that they should use the TD Garden Hub App to download their tickets and Play It Safe Promise prior to arriving at TD Garden. 

Is the parking garage open?

Yes. To reduce touch points, guests are encouraged to pre-purchase parking in TD Garden’s North Station Garage here.   

Can I take the MBTA to North Station?

Yes, please check MBTA and Commuter Rail schedules and guidelines prior to planning your visit.
