TD Garden Entry Requirements

TD Garden, Boston Bruins and Boston Celtics announced today that all guests 12 years and older are required to present proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or a qualifying negative COVID-19 test to gain access to the arena. These entry requirements will go into effect on Thursday, September 30, 2021, aligned with the first Boston Bruins preseason game at TD Garden. Additionally, the City of Boston public health order requiring all guests over the age of 2 are required to wear a mask at TD Garden, except while actively eating or drinking as permitted, will remain in effect until further notice.

These policies will continue to be reviewed and updated on an ongoing basis. Some events, seating locations and experiences may require additional health and safety guidelines as required by promoters, touring artists or league protocols.

Proof of Vaccination or NEGATIVE COVID-19 Test Required

All guests 12 years and older must provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19~ OR proof of a qualifying negative COVID-19 test* to gain entry to the arena.

Children under 12 do not have to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19 or proof of qualifying negative COVID-19 test, but they are required to wear a face mask. Some events may require additional health and safety protocols, depending on requests from the artist, promoter or league. Please check your event page for more information and be sure to review all communications distributed to you prior to your event. 

If you are traveling from outside the United States, TD Garden will accept printed or digital proof of the vaccination card approved as full vaccination from the country of origin (including but not limited to AstraZeneca, Sputnik V, Sinopharm-BBIBP, CoronaVac).

~Individuals are considered “fully vaccinated” against COVID-19 at least 14 days after they have received the second dose in a two-dose series (e.g. Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna) or at least 14 days after they have received a single-dose vaccine (e.g. Johnson and Johnson/Janssen).

*TD Garden will accept a printout or digital copy of a negative PCR/molecular test (sampled within 72 hours of the event) or a negative rapid/antigen test (sampled within 24 hours of the event) administered by a healthcare professional that includes their name and the date of the test as proof. Self-administered at-home rapid/antigen tests will not be accepted.


Accepted Forms of Proof of Full Vaccination Against COVID-19

TD Garden will accept the original vaccination card or a digital copy of the vaccination card that can be checked against a valid ID (for those 18 years or older) as proof of full vaccination~. For guests 18 years or older, valid forms of ID include driver’s license, state identification card, or passport.

If you are traveling from outside the United States, TD Garden will accept printed or digital proof of the vaccination card approved as full vaccination from the country of origin (including but not limited to AstraZeneca, Sputnik V, Sinopharm-BBIBP, CoronaVac).

Mask Policy

In accordance with the CDC and the City of Boston, masks will now be required for all guests, regardless of vaccination status, at TD Garden starting August 27, 2021. Masks must be worn at all times except while actively eating or drinking in your seat as permitted. Masks must completely and tightly cover the wearer’s nose and mouth. Neck gaiters, bandanas, masks with valves or vents, and any covering with only a single layer of cloth are not permitted. Face shields may not be worn in place of a face mask, though may be worn in addition to a face mask. A two-strike policy will be strictly enforced for all guests who attend events at TD Garden in relation to mask wearing. Guests failing to adhere to this policy will be subject to disciplinary measures including ejection.

Children under 2 years old are exempt from the mandatory mask policy. If you have a medical condition that prevents you from wearing a face mask, please notify TD Garden customer service at least 2 business days prior to your ticketed event to make accommodations. Entry will be denied if advance notice is not provided. Day of event exemptions will not be permitted. Fans who are unable to wear a face mask will be required to wear a face shield.

All associates (including 3rd party employees and vendors) are required to wear a company issued black mask at all times and complete the Play It Safe Promise, a digital health agreement, prior entering TD Garden.

Entry Gates

Guests will be given a specific entry gate and asked to enter the arena only through assigned entrances based on seating location. ‘Know Before You Go’ emails will be distributed to guests prior to each event to advise on the most efficient path of travel to their respective gate. These designated gates will help minimize contact and crossover with other guests. Guests are asked to stay within their designated neighborhood throughout the event. Upon arrival, guests will be asked to show their mobile ticket.

The most convenient parking for every game and event is the North Station Garage, located directly underneath TD Garden. It offers a flat event rate when you enter 3 hours prior to the scheduled event start time. Elevators are located in the parking garage and will bring you directly to the main concourse in North Station. Prepay now to guarantee your spot.

Door Opening Times

Door Opening Times The time the doors to TD Garden open will vary according to the event. The typical times are noted below. Please check in advance by calling 617-624-1300.

  • Bruins: Member Doors open two hours prior to game time; General doors open 90 minutes prior to game time unless otherwise specifically noted.
  • Celtics: Member Doors open two hours prior to game time; General doors open 90 minutes prior to game time unless otherwise specifically noted.
  • Concerts: Doors open one hour prior to the event unless otherwise specifically noted.

No Re-Entry During Events TD Garden has a no re-entry policy during events. Guests who need to exit and re-enter due to personal emergencies (i.e. retrieve medicine from vehicle), must first make contact with a Guest Services Supervisor in Guest Services at Level 4, Loge 4 to make necessary arrangements.

Entry Screening

  • As a reminder, all entry doors at TD Garden are outfitted with walk-through metal detection systems where fans will be screened prior to entry. Fans are encouraged to keep the following in mind before they arrive at the arena entrance:

  • Have your mobile ticket pulled up in your mobile app, ready to be scanned when approaching turnstiles. 

  • Remove all items from your clothing and belongings that may trigger a metal detector alarm prior to being screened. 

  • All fans will be subject to random secondary searches at entry.
