TD GARDEN ANNOUNCES NHL & NBA PLAYOFF ACTIVATIONS

(Boston, MA – April 17, 2023) – TD Garden is one of only four arenas to have both NHL and NBA home teams in the playoffs. Building on the excitement of the incredible Boston Bruins and Boston Celtics seasons, TD Garden is excited to announce new retail, menu specials and other playoff activations that will bring the game day experience to the next level.

PROSHOP POWERED BY ‘47

To celebrate the postseason, ProShop powered by ’47 has released Bruins and Celtics playoff gear. Items include limited edition koozies, T-shirts, pins, pennants and more. Don’t forget the ultimate die hard must haves – fan chains and goalie hug it out t-shirt! CONCESSIONS SPECIALS

TD Garden offers the most diverse food and beverage options of all arenas in New England, and this playoff season, Sportservice, Delaware North-owned food and beverage and retail operators, continues to push the boundaries for the fan culinary experience.

ADDITIONAL FAN ACTIVATIONS
PLAYOFF HUB ON CANAL STREET

Mayor Michelle Wu, in partnership with Downtown North Association and TD Garden, announced the return of the Boston Playoff Hub on Canal Street, creating a car-free zone for residents and fans to gather before and during home playoff games. The Playoff Hub is free and open to the public for each home game. Extended restaurant patios will be open starting three hours prior to game time and will remain open until an hour after the games start.

#DEFENDCAUSEWAY

TD Garden social channels has debuted its #DefendCauseway social series. The Causeway Defenders are a franchise of players, fans, and behind-the-scenes team members who gather to protect the parquet and barricade the barn in search of the next championship banner. All these extraordinary individuals play a critical role in preserving the legacies of these two storied franchises and must come together to defend Causeway from its rivals. The arena will continue to select fans to feature as part of the playoff content throughout the duration of the postseason, familiar faces may just pop-up in social feed need you.

Immersive Lighting

TD Garden has installed Nova Pro Immersive LED lighting to activate during both Bruins and Celtics games. These lights are part of the immersive, in-arena experience and will be synced up with the presentation and audio effects presented on TD Garden HubVision throughout the games.

Arena Changeover

Did you know it takes 40 members of the TD Garden Bullgang about 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete an arena changeover from parquet to ice. The first of several playoff arena changeovers happened over the weekend! WATCH NOW.
