Important Pedestrian and Traffic Flow Updates
September 20, 2017 – The Hub on Causeway development project located directly in front of TD Garden on Causeway Street is currently under construction, resulting in changing pedestrian and traffic flow patterns in the area. For fans and guests looking to access the east side of TD Garden, the sidewalk between Portal Park and TD Garden North Station Garage Ramp has reopened to pedestrian traffic. Legends Way will be open to pedestrian traffic ONLY on TD Garden event/game days, and will be closed during non-event periods. The crosswalk at the corner of Haverhill Street, closest to Tavern in the Square, is open to pedestrian traffic flow for crossing over Causeway Street. Please reference the map to see the current pedestrian traffic flow.
Delaware North and Boston Properties are committed to public outreach throughout the construction and will continue to communicate updates as they happen. To report issues, concerns or suggestions, please use the dedicated project hotline 855-572-9360.
The TD Garden is located in Boston’s Downtown North section on Causeway Street, minutes from the historic North End and Faneuil Hall. Ticketed patrons should enter the TD Garden through the North Station terminal, on Nashua Street or on Legends Way.
If you are driving to the TD Garden, keep in mind that typical backups on local streets begin about one hour before the scheduled game or event. Traffic delays are especially common in the following locations: Leverett Circle, Storrow Drive East, Martha Road, and Causeway Street.
