What are the entry requirements at TD Garden due to the City of Boston’s vaccine requirement?

Beginning January 15, 2022:

Effective January 15, 2022, all guests 12 years and older will be required to show proof of vaccination to be allowed entry to TD Garden. Proof of negative COVID-19 tests will no longer be accepted for entry. The City of Boston Mask Mandate will continue to be in effect, requiring all guests 2 years old and over to wear a mask while indoors, unless actively eating or drinking.*

Per the City of Boston’s mask mandate, all guests age 2+ are required to wear a mask at all times unless actively eating or drinking.

Based on the City of Boston’s Temporary Order requiring COVID-19 Vaccination for Indoor Entertainment, Recreation, Dining and Fitness Settings in the City of Boston, which requires guests to show proof of vaccination to attend events at TD Garden, any guest who would like to discuss potential exemptions can contact TD Garden Customer Service team at customerservice@tdgarden.com

What is the accepted form of proof of vaccination?

Acceptable proof of vaccination includes:

  • CDC vaccination card
  • A digital image of your CDC vaccination card (photo will suffice)
  • An image or print out of official immunization record
  •  A COVID-19 vaccine verification app (including the Clear Health Pass, Common Pass, and more)

If you are traveling from outside the United States, TD Garden will accept printed or digital proof of the vaccination card approved as full vaccination from the country of origin (including but not limited to AstraZeneca, Sputnik V, Sinopharm-BBIBP, CoronaVac).

How do entry requirements apply to children?

Additional dates and requirements for guests age 5+ are listed below. Proof of a negative COVID-19 test will no longer be accepted.

Does proof of vaccination change the mask policy for me at TD Garden?

No, in accordance with the City of Boston’s indoor mask mandate all guests over the age of 2 are required to wear a mask that completely covers their nose and mouth while at TD Garden. Guests may remove their masks when actively eating or drinking as permitted. TD Garden will strictly enforce this mask mandate. Guests failing to adhere to this policy will be subject to disciplinary measures including ejection.

In addition to the vaccination and mask requirements, what else can we expect with regard to safety and health protocols?

TD Garden has implemented ‘Play It Safe’, a comprehensive program designed to help ensure the continued health and safety of TD Garden guests and associates and reduce the spread of infectious diseases like COVID-19.  

Using the Play It Safe protocols, we’ve reengineered our operational and sanitation procedures to minimize contact risk and bolstered hygiene to exceed best-practice guidelines from the CDC.  Additionally, we have incorporated all guidelines from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and local public safety and public health officials, the NHL, and the NBA.  Our commitment remains to prioritize the safety of our guests, associates, and players.

What is Play It Safe Promise?

By entering TD Garden, guests agree to our Play It Safe Promise HERE.

Do employees and staff have to adhere to the same requirements?

Yes. All arena and team employees, event staff and arena partners are required to follow the same protocols.

What if I get sick prior to the game?

If you have tickets to a game and you or a member of your party become sick and cannot agree to the Play It Safe Promise on the day of your event, you may transfer, resell, or donate your tickets through Account Manager. You should contact your account executives/representatives if you require additional assistance if needed.

Will I be able to transfer, donate or resell my tickets if I cannot use them?

Yes, anyone who purchases tickets will have the ability to transfer, donate or resell tickets via Account Manager. You should contact your account executives/representatives if you require additional assistance if needed.

How do I report concern regarding other guests’ conduct?

Guests are encouraged to report issues using the Fan Safe Text Hotline at 857-400-8763*.

*The Fan Safe Text Hotline is actively monitored during events, beginning 90 minutes prior to the start time of the event through the end of the event. If you need assistance during non-event days and times, please contact Customer Service at customerservice@tdgarden.com or 617-624-1331.

Is the Box Office open?

Yes, TD Garden Box Office will be open and operating on game days, opening two hours prior to the start of the game and closing one hour after the start of the game. Masks are required for anyone visiting the Box Office. Guests are reminded that TD Garden is using all mobile ticketing and that they should use the TD Garden Hub App to download their tickets prior to arriving at TD Garden.
